The Sky High Coliseum from Star Force 2 returns as the "Rockman Star Coliseum. Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star is a 2009 port of Mega Man Battle Network that added the ability to control Mega Man Star Force, as well as a side scenario.
A scenario is added involving new Navi ClockMan.EXE.The bottom screen functions as a PET, much like in Mega Man Battle Network 5 DS.New chips based on Star Force Mega Man and Omega-Xis are added.Their MegaBuster is weaker than that of MegaMan.EXE's, however. The lock-on ability, shield, and auto-charging/rapid firing buster are retained from Star Force. Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis are playable.However, some mechanics from BN1 are carried over, including the ADD system and time-freezing Recovery chips. The BattleChip and Folder systems are taken from Battle Network 2: ten chip maximum at the Custom Screen, only five copies of a chip per folder, *-coded BattleChips are included.Much is the game is unchanged, including graphics (for the most part), audio, and general gameplay structure, but there are some new features, the biggest of which is the ability to play as the Mega Man from the Star Force series.
